I found Osteo health through a Google search. Their reviews speak wonders. Having TMJ issues for many years I was unable to find relief or proper treatment until I met with the Deepinder. After an initial assessment she was able to quickly identity issues I had been having long term. Her treatment was so thorough and holistic. I immediately felt relief and relaxed within a few minutes of treatment. I’m still in a treatment routine but I have found such relief already with a couple of treatments. I highly recommend Deepinder!

💡TMJ CARE — FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference between TMJ Osteopathy and TMJ Massage Therapy?

TMJ Osteopathy treats the jaw and the whole body. It focuses on joint mechanics, bite balance, cranial bones, neck, posture, and nervous system regulation to address the root cause of TMJ dysfunction.

TMJ Massage Therapy focuses only on muscle tension. It helps relax tight jaw, face, and neck muscles and is excellent for symptom relief, but it does not address joints or structural imbalance.

🟢 For longer-term relief, combine TMJ Massage with TMJ Osteopathy.

Why not just do massage if it feels good?

Massage is excellent for reducing muscle tension and pain.
If symptoms keep returning, it usually means there are deeper joint, fascial, or nervous system factors involved.
That’s where manual Osteopathy can make a meaningful difference.

What if my scans or imaging are normal?

This is very common with TMJ issues.
Pain and dysfunction often come from muscle tension, movement patterns, and nervous system overload, which don’t always show up on imaging.

Is this approach gentle?

Yes. All TMJ treatments offered are non-forceful, hands-on, and adapted to your comfort level.
Nothing is done aggressively or without your consent.

Is TMJ treatment covered by insurance?

  • 💡TMJ Massage Therapy is often covered under massage therapy benefits

  • 💡TMJ Osteopathy is covered under osteopathy benefits

  • 💡TMJ Acupuncture is covered under acupuncture benefits

Coverage varies by plan. We recommend confirming with your provider prior to booking.

How many sessions will I need?

TMJ care is highly individual.
Acute flare-ups often settle in 2-3 sessions, while chronic clenching or pain requires 4-6 visits plan  to address recurring or long-standing symptoms.

Your practitioner will guide you after the first visit.

What if I’m nervous or sensitive to treatment?

You’re not alone — TMJ clients are often sensitive and stress-responsive.
Treatments are paced gently, and communication is encouraged throughout your session.
